Personal Bankruptcy Filings Expected to Surge During the Second Quarter of 2010

| May 5, 2010

Personal bankruptcy filings were reported at 146,000 in April, down from 158,000 in March. The following graph from Calculated Risk shows that total filings for the second quarter of 2010 are expected to surge well above recent highs of the past year.
